If you find financial reporting and forecasting daunting or want to understand what your bookkeeper or accountant is telling you, this workshop is what you need.

During the course of the morning we will explore terms like cash flow, profit and loss accounts and balance sheet. With experienced business advisors on hand you will complete simple exercises to help you develop your skills and knowledge so you don't get bamboozled by your accountant, but more importantly so you can understand how your business is performing and where you might be able to improve your profitability.

During the second part of the session we will look at what happens if you do not have enough cash in your business and where you might go to raise more, including how to understand what is right for your particular business.

By the end of the workshop you will be able to cost & price your product / servicebe able to complete a sales forecastunderstand the difference between cash & profitbe able to complete a simple cash flowbe able to complete basic bookkeeping tasksunderstand the options available to you for raising external finance.
