South Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards 2017 - open for entries
We're delighted to announce that entries are now being invited for the South Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards 2017.
The South Wilts Business Of The Year Awards were launched back in 2000 and since then have recognised literally 100's of local companies for delivering business excellence across South Wiltshire. The judging panel is made up of the local business people and members of business support organisations who drive the judging process by visiting EVERY SINGLE entrant to the awards. This annual awards programme is a fantastic opportunity for you to celebrate the success of your business with the wider business community.
This year TEN will sponsor for the third year running the Enterprising Woman In Business award - a hotly contested category. The award will be presented to an exceptional woman who has made a real difference in business over the past 12 months.
Russell Frith, TEN Development Officer and awards judge said we are looking for "Exceptional women who through leadership, entrepreneurialism, creativity in approach to expansion or diversification and/or ideas stand out from their colleagues. People who inspire and motivate others and demonstrate business expertise with a clear sense of vision and direction, communication skills and customer focus." His colleague Rachel Finaly also judging this category added "The winner and finalists will have a positive and ongoing impact across their business or organisation, growing and develop personally as well as being successful in business."
Unlike other awards programmes, entry is really simple and the judging process quite unique. You fill out a basic entry form with your contact details and this is followed up with a personal visit to you and your
business by the judges for your category. Businesses entering the awards consistently report that the judging process has helped them to look at their business with 'new eyes' and the process has contributed to growth, development and success.
The awards evening is something of a landmark on the local business calendar too with food, drink and a feature performance (ABC last year and Texas in 2015) complimenting the glittering award presentation.
So why not enter your business in 2017? Entries must be received by Sunday 30th April (don't forget this is a simple contact form – not an onerous application!) and judging takes place in May.
