Sources of Advice and Financial Support
The functions of the Swindon and Wiltshire Enterprise Partnership have been transferred to the local authorities in Swindon and Wiltshire as part of new government policy, effective from 1 April 2024.
This change means that the newly formed Swindon and Wiltshire Business and Growth Unit, a part of Wiltshire Council, is now responsible for economic strategy and government programmes such as the Growth Hub and Careers Hub. Additionally, it ensures that local businesses have a voice in decisions affecting the future of our economy through the Economic Advisory Board. Wiltshire Council and Swindon Borough Council will continue to collaborate to work together to deliver for businesses in Wiltshire and Swindon into the future.
