About the Satellite Centres

As a result of the work done with the satellite centres, it was recognised that by working together with other workspace and office providers, we could share best practice, enhance the offer we provide to our customers, and promote small business growth in Swindon and Wiltshire.

From this The Swindon and Wiltshire Enterprise Network has been formed which meets quarterly. All members sign a members charter, which is upheld by the Network Co-ordinator. We always have a speaker who presents on a topic of mutual interest and discuss issues that are effecting us all.

We are delighted that other organisations with similar aims, in addition to those which have received grant funding from TEN, have recognised the value of this network and have joined. These include:

In addition to creating its own dedicated Enterprise Centres, TEN is also investing £1m from Defra’s Rural Growth Network funding to support six other workspace hubs and business centres across Wiltshire  to develop their offer to start-ups and growing micro businesses.

“The Satellite Centres collectively (in addition to the four main Enterprise Centres) provide a good spread of provision throughout Wiltshire and rural Swindon.”
